Wild4Pets is based on a converted farm in rural Shropshire - ideal dog walking territory. Our two dogs (Ozzie and Megan) are very lucky as they come to work with us everyday. They are thoroughly ruined with more toys and beds than any dog really needs and lots of attention from all. They love greeting the delivery drivers and postmen (and women). And of course they’re our expert testers, so they more than earn their keep!
| Ozzie’s Profile |
|
Age:
6 years approx.
Occupation:
Chief tester of harnesses and leads
Breed:
Collie/Spaniel Cross
Likes:
All people and lots of cuddles. Chasing rabbits or pheasants.
Dislikes:
Other dogs and the hose!
Favourite toy:
‘Quackers’ Duck anything fluffy
Smartest Trick:
Opening the gate at the bottom of the stairs.
Background:
We found Ozzie in our local Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre and immediately fell in love with him. We don’t know any history about him except that he was found wandering around in Wales! He is an adorable little fellow who behaves impeccably indoors but has a number of behavioural problems outside, particularly with other dogs. He is very frightened of them which he tries to disguise with lots of barking and aggressive behaviour. We have spent many, many hours trying to help him overcome his fears, but we still have a way to go. Luckily living ‘out in the sticks’ is ideal for him.

| Megan’s Profile |
|
Age:
4 years approx.
Occupation:
Tester of toys and training aids
Breed:
Chocolate Labrador
Likes:
Just loves life
Dislikes:
Mud!
Favourite toy:
Anything including boots and shoes!
Smartest Trick:
How to chase the super fast Ozzie and catch him!
Background:
Megan is Pedigree Lab from a farm in Church Stretton. We went to see her at 5 weeks with all her brothers and sisters and basically wanted them all! She is such a sweet, laid back little girl (well not so little anymore) and is the perfect companion for Ozzie. Poor Meg was desperate to be friends with him, but it took Ozzie quite a while to trust her. Now they are great pals and enjoy playing together. She is very much the tom boy and can be a little clumsy at times. At puppy training she was top of the class (I might be a little biased) and loved all the other dogs. She still can’t resist chewing things, but will grow out of this soon we hope.

If you call, you may speak to Linda who helps out with customer service and order processing. Linda has a very handsome Dalmatian called Henry. He also tests many of our products for approval.
| Henry’s Profile |
|
Age:
6 years approx.
Occupation:
Tester of Tuffie and Extreme Combat toys (nothing else last 5 minutes!)
Breed:
Dalmation
Likes:
Walks, trips to the coast, food (especially anything he can steal) and socks!
Dislikes:
Puddles and having a bath
Favourite toy:
Tuffies Rumble Ring, slippers and socks
Smartest Trick:
Stealing cat food as soon as your backs turned.
Background:
1 of 5 puppies born on a dairy farm in wild Wensleydale with a pedigree spanning 5 generations (including a few Crufts winners). Rather than the show ring Henry is never happier than out on a days shooting and believe it or not he’s a very good gun dog. At home he always wants to share the sofa however small the space available may be - he’ll move you eventually! He did show himself up on a trip to the future in-laws recently when he devoured a freshly baked Victoria Sandwich! Henry is a very faithful companion with a huge character and when he’s not harassing the 2 cats he’s keeping the bed or sofa warm (if I forget to shut the gate) for when we get home from work.
